It came as a shock to many, but it was to none as greater as a shock than to Lindsay herself, once the judgment had been announced. It was a very emotional moment for both her and her sister Ali who was there in the courtroom supporting her from the early am through the close of the day. We all awaited as press outside the building, with more than half the media outlets and public wagering the bets that she would go free with another celeb style slap on the wrist. 

The moment the judge Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lohan on the inside, to 90 days in jail for violating her probation in her DUI case, followed by a 90-day inpatient rehab program, the media braced itself for what was expected to be all hell about to break loose. However, it ended up being a organized, well-managed, smooth escort out through the front doors, with Lohan having to surrender on July 20 in Judge Revel's court, no hand cuff's as many had expected. The judge said there was a pattern of violations since Lindsay was placed on probation in 2007 following her plea bargain in her DUI case. 

Despite these violations, Lindsay full of heart felt tears, pleaded with the decision stating, "I'm not taking this as a joke, it's my life and career. I don't want you to think I don't respect you and your terms," and said many times, "I did the best I could." Despite the contending rumors and allegations, we believe she had shown many signs of her own willed improvements. 

Also in the courtroom today shedding some grievance and tough love, father Michael Lohan. Although not the best candidate for role modeling out of his own glass house, his parental concerns for her over-all well being had the best intentions as he delivered a clear message to the judge in support of getting his daughter some help. His attorney at his side spoke on his behalf after the sentence was made. Michael has long maintained that his daughter "is addicted to prescription drugs" and that, "she can get off them with proper treatment, not jail." Let's just hope that this will be a pivitol point in Lindsay's life, and that in her solitude, she can embrace making strides for a better self as that is what many of us want to see happen for her

Kicking off the debut of his "Knight and Day" film, Tom does a tandem zip-line with talk show host comedian Jimmy Kimmel, from the roof top of his tv studio, the two suspended pull a stunt across Hollywood Blvd to land in the Manns Chinese Theater while attempting to juggle eggs. Crazy eh, good thing no eggs were hurt while filming this stunt... ha ha.
